Structural Removal
Renovating a room may involve work on the walls, flooring, or ceiling.
However, sometimes it may be necesssary to remove parts of your home's structure to free up space or to change the layout to suit your needs. Be mindful of what is being removed, as sometimes "guting-out" too much material may be unnecessary.

Lighting can really make an impact on the ambiance, feeling, color, and overall atmosphere of a room.
We'll help you choose the most suitable lighting for your home's unique design and layout, adding a very pleasant effect to the aesthetics of your new design.

There are several different types of paint made for just about every kind of surface.
Typically, flat paints are used for ceilings and even walls, whereas different kinds of semigloss is good for trim. Even glossy paint is sometimes more appropriate for certain types of trim. Of course, this all depends on the individual layout of your design. We'll help you choose the right kind of paint that adds flair to the finished appearance of your rooms.
Updating The Electrical System
Renovations aren't always surface level.
One thing often overlooked is having a professional check to see if your wiring is all up to code and working properly. This is especially true in older homes and buildings. Be sure to talk this over with Maverick James Project Management while forming your renovation plans.
What Goes Into A Room Renovation?
Although home remodeling and renovation can seem like a daunting task, Maverick James Project Management is here for you every step of the way to ensure a smooth, headache-free process.

Planning
We'll work with you to help plan your perfect renovation. We can work off of your design or you can choose one of our many design options. Whatever you choose, we will turn your space into the room of your dreams.

Demolition
Once all the materials arrive at the job site and they have been inspected, it's demolition time. If space is being added, then framing generally takes place. If walls within are being moved, it's the best time to install any new windows and doors.

Work Behind the Walls
Generally, this is the time for critical work behind walls, below floors, and above ceilings. This includes plumbing, electrical work, heating, air conditioning, rough-ins, subfloors, and insulation. Then we patch, hang drywall, tape, and sand for smooth exterior surfaces.

Paint & Flooring
Next, we start any painting or flooring that is necessary. At this point, you can start to see your room really take shape.

Install Cabinets & Appliances
Now that the walls and floors are in, the room begins to resemble its finished state. Cabinets (if applicable) are typically installed next, with upper cabinets going in before the lower ones. Finally, any appliances and equipment are also installed.

Finishing Touches
It's time to add the final details and decorations, such as final painting, backsplashes, floor sealing, light fixtures, hardware, and any other touch-ups.
